The Good: Great cast of characters gives the game plenty of personality; interesting sound design; level design works well to create a sense of scale.

The Bad: Collection quests are tedious and unrewarding; pace is interrupted by the day and night cycle and the need to recharge every few minutes; no challenge or excitement to be found in any of the menial tasks that make up most of the game.

Chibi-Robo is a game that you have to take at a leisurely pace, and it demands a lot of patience to truly appreciate what it has to offer. You can put as much time as you want into the game without getting anywhere, but it will probably take around 14 hours to see most of what there is to see. Despite the monotonous and occasionally tiresome gameplay, the great cast of characters and offbeat sense of humor manage to make Chibi-Robo a compelling and ultimately enjoyable experience.

I'm buying the hell outa this anyways ----- the description makes it seem like "lost in blue" - SOLD -

it was just so damn charming at E3, the animation in the game is great.

It looks interesting, but from all corners the negatives seem to do with pacing. I will definitely try it when it's cheaper.

I'm getting a Cubivore vibe from this.

have you played it or do you declare goty for games you haven't played yet?
I think you got your answer when he gave his GotY to Kirby.
