Wait, so this is a Dungeon Keeper style game? Build a Dungeon, attract monsters, lay traps, lure in heroes...that sort of thing?

Okay, I feel I have to detail what this game REALLY is, simply because I think most people have the wrong idea. This is one of the most off-beat concepts in dungeon RPGs in quite a while and I don't mean that in a good way. ^^;

This is a dungeon making dungeon RPG. What does that mean? The main character (you) is a dungeon maker by profession. There is a town where you can talk to people, and they will have requests like in any dungeon RPG. Except there's a catch. In this game there's no completed dungeon yet. So you have to go into the "dungeon" and start building it with the assets you have part by part. When you're done, you go home to sleep.

The next day when you return to the dungeon, monsters would have began to populate it. Killing these monsters will net you items and drops that you can use to complete the quests you have. When you have fulfilled the conditions for each floor, the boss will appear and after defeating it, you can go on to the next floor. I mean... go on to.... make the next floor..... yeah. ^^;

There's also an adhoc mode where you can trade dungeons you've made with friends and stuff. But the basic concept of the game just sounds totally..... dumb. It's like reverse Dungeon Keeper, without the traps. So instead of making a dungeon with traps and monsters and luring people in, you're just constructing the DUNGEON itself, and hoping monsters populate it so you can.... kill them. It's like playing a dungeon RPG where instead of the game having a dungeon, you have to make it yourself too! How... weird! :(

I dunno, sounds kind of interesting to me. It really depends on the ultimate depth and strategy of building the dungeons. From the website, it seems like there are a lot of options.

Either way, I'd be willing to give it a shot even if just for the concept.

WTF is the point of hacking through dungeons you've created yourself. There's no sense of exploration, then!

It's a game where they make the players do all the work in order to play it. Like a limited RPG Maker but only more bizzare since the audience is yourself.

The only compelling thing about this game to date:

"Tee hee, like omg, we're just two disease-free virgins looking for a strapping young dungeon-maker to wash and bathe..."
