Only games I plan to buy are Xenoblade and Mario 3D Land (probably a gift). Might pick up some older stuff with codes too though.

As luck would have it, the year I don't make platinum will be the year the reward is awesome. Like a soundtrack, or a retro classic controller, or something similarly good.

Adventures of Tin Tin doesn't have a Club Nintendo code for 3DS. I wonder if Nano Assualt got pushed back so they could add the Club Nintendo points in the cases.

Are you including the 100 coins you'll get from the GBA games (assuming you an ambassador)? You're not interested in Luigi's Mansion 2 or Kid Icarus? Given that most 3rd party games will likely have codes from now on, that also makes Resident Evil and some of the other big possibilities for early next year quite countable too.

OK, so it seems Ubisoft hasn't been signed onto the program yet... That's kind of a surprise. On Nano Assault, it appears that one of Majesco's other games, Face Racers, missed out on the coins (according to the eligibility page) despite it releasing on the same day as Sonic and WWE. That would work with the theory that Majesco needed a few more days time to sign up to the program so Nano could be included.

Actually Face Racers didn't come out until today. it came out along with Jaws and Nano Assualt. I think the reason tin tin didn't get it is because it had a street date of today, but was probably done and packaged weeks ago.

Forgot about the GBA games. That and third party games having codes (didn't know about that) will make a difference. Platinum again then!

I just registered Nano Assault and it was only worth 30 points. no early registration bonus for that or WWE All Stars.

Odd. Someone else registered Nano and got 40 coins, and I just got a PM confirming that someone else got 40 for Sonic Generations. It seems as though you should be getting 10 coin early reg bonuses -- double check and make sure it isn't in your coin list.

I just checked and I got 30 for Nano Assault & 30 for WWE All-Stars. 30 + 10 early reg. coins for Mario Kart 7

This is weird. You would assume it would be consistent... I have two other folks confirming getting 40 for Sonic Generations...

So I have a bunch of code still left from games like Mario Kart and Tetris and Skyward Sword but I'm already Platinum status, do I wait until next year to use them? Used 400 coins to get the Zelda posters.

If you want something use them. They won't expire by then and you won't lose status by spending them.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm saving any surplus codes for next year, unless something comes up that I really want. I'm even keeping a Google Document list just to remind myself which ones I haven't registered. :p

Oh yeah, if you haven't entered them yet. However you won't get 10 coins each from Skyward Sword and Mario Kart 7 for the Early Reg. bonus, so there is a trade-off involved. With the 12-13 year almost certain to have the Wii U and 3rd party 3DS (and very likely Wii U) games counting, I don't think you really need to worry about being able to make Platinum next year.

I think we can safely say that Sonic has the early reg. while other games don't. This could be a mistake of the person entering the games (putting the wrong date) or maybe only certain games qualify. Perhaps those people that didn't receive early reg. coins should send an e-mail off to Nintendo asking why they didn't qualify for the bonus coins.

Not to get anyone's hopes up, but the Club Nintendo website is "down for maintenance."

That COULD imply the impending arrival of the GBA stuff... or a new gift... or nothing at all.

But I'm still hoarding about 1400 coins. I want Ball. But I know the second I spend all my coins, another awesome "big prize" will be revealed. I'd LOVE a Zelda 3DS pouch similar to the Mario DS pouches. And I'd do just about anything for that NES Wii controller.
