Was apparently announced in the NA Direct.

Will update with details once I pick my brains up from the floor.

speed up 3x max on New Nintendo 3DS
speed up 2x max on regular Nintendo 3DS.

Thank christ. Did they say when the patch was hitting? Now maybe there will be a few less people pretending like you totally for serious need the time to keep track of enemies.

I'm playing this game and I love it, but that's been such a killer, and I was just thinking today "What are the chances they'd patch something like this in?"

I'm going to hold off on continuing until this patch I think.

May seriously pick this up now. Wait times were a bit much in the demo. Speaking of which, I wonder if they'll patch the demo version as well since I can imagine seeing the faster enemy turn time would sell a few extra copies...

can the regular 3DS not handle the game moving faster? don't care if the framerate goes to shit

but yeah, 2X is still good enough for this game to get into "will get eventually" territory now
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. It's not like the game has to calculate the AI's logic 3 times faster, it just has to move the models around quicker. But what do I know?

This looks like exactly my kinda game but the loading in the GB quick look was paaaaainful.

my copy is still unopened heheh. not because of the slow turns issue. just didn't have time to dive into it with the recent game releases. this is the one game, I think, that deserves my full attention

when I finally start the game, I'll have the best possible experience with 3x

Do those Fire Emblem characters only get added in battle through NFC, or can they be appended permanently to your party through tapping the amiibo once? I feel like this game would be really fun with those characters but I don't have any of those amiibos

You need to tap them every time they die or, I think, every new mission.

You only need to tap them once, BUT if you use them in the game and they die you have to tap them again. If they don´t die you can use them forever

The monumentally stupid waiting time for the enemy turn to end was the only thing I didn't like about the demo. But it as a massive enough design failure that I didn't get the full game.

I will now!

This is really awesome, probably the biggest issue with the game. Though I wish they'd also add an option to require confirmation for your actions (like, you have to press L twice to attack....I've accidentally attacked on so many occasions by hitting L when I didn't want to). I also wish you could map ABXY to functions, there are certain things that are only mapped to the touch screen but ABXY are basically useless if you're on a N3DS. There are other things that I feel makes the game unintuitive. But just this is probably the biggest problem with the game so I'm happy.
