Can't wait for Moonscars loved the demo, then i'll have a look at grounded, havn't checked that out since around it's early access release but I really liked it, just needed more content which should have improved.

No big surprise but a really solid list and one of the best months of the year so far.

Seems like there was no reason to be worried about September content (and also October since it already includes Plague Tale and Scorn).

They were just playing with us, saving all those games for the second announcement. :messenger_grinning_smiling:

Deathloop, Moonscars, Grounded & Slime Rancher 2 for me!

I'm a good 10 hours into Ni No Kuni currently & I got Diofield Chronicles tomorrow & then it is non stop games I want to play!

I wish some of these games came out earlier during some off the slower months of the year though, I'm going to have to plan out what order I play each game.

My series X will be arriving in the next few days, I'm a complete Xbox noob since the OG Xbox. Anything that's must play on Gamepass that I should get to first? I have a PS5 and Switch so now I won't miss out on anything, best way to be if you can afford to

  • Go through the store and wishlist everything that's backwards compatible that you want. Wait for sales.
  • First party titles are on GP forever, so play those one at a time.
  • Play stuff leaving the service soon before it leaves. It's shown in the OP what's leaving on 9/30.
  • Can try stuff on cloud before even downloading if you're not sure.

I'm actually most excited for the Grounded full release this month. Been waiting to play it until the story was fleshed out.

Also downloaded/preloaded Ni No Kuni Remastered, Danganronpa, and Deathloop......wow, this month is stacked

You also can claim Games with Gold titles twice a month, so grab those off the store every two weeks or so.

Then there's the Gamepass upgrade trick which is pretty much the best deal, easily. Buy 3 year cards of Gold for $60 each. Then when that is done, you can convert Live Gold to Gamepass Ultimate for $1. Then you'll be set up until 2025 for $181. Do this before signing up for Gamepass, or using any free 1 month promo codes.

First, congratulations on your Series X, but I do pity you for the size of your backlog after you go through all the games on Game Pass.

I don't know what kind of games you like but Game Pass pretty much has everything. Almost all the Bethesda Softworks games are on Game Pass, there are tons of JRPGs and Japanese games if you like those games (I hate them - but whatever).

As already mentioned, Deathloop releases today. If you're good with twinstick shooters, The Ascent is the most criminally underrated game ever - Don't miss it.

Forza Horizon 5 is awesome. I hate racing games but gave it a try and loved it. Of course, FS 2020 is the most technologically advance and most beautiful game ever, worth checking out just look at it. The campaign for Halo Infinite is my favorite game so far this gen. If you like shooters you should check it out.

If you haven't played them yet Jedi: Fallen Order and Guardians of the Galaxy are outstanding games, but stay away from the Avengers, it totally sucks. :messenger_winking:

Probably the best thing to do is go through all the Game Pass offerings and add any you think you might like to "Play Later". Also keep in mind most games can be played on xCloud so if you're undecided you can try them out first without wasting a bunch of time to download them.

If you have interest in backwards compatible stuff, you can find a list of 360 and OG Xbox BC games here. You can also filter for those which got any kind of enhancements or FPS boost.

All Xbox OG games run with a resolution boost by default. Some 360 games got res boost for One X which transfers here, and some also got FPS boosted.

---------

And for a general list of all games which got FPS boost, including Xbox One era games, you can use this:

I generally keep an eye on if any of these games, especially 360 ones, ever go on sale so I can get them for cheap.

Hey thanks, yeah starfield being exclusive and all future Bethesda games was one of the main reasons I took the plunge, plus like you say I have alot that I've missed that I can get stuck into in the mean time.

There's only really God of War that I'm looking forward to on the PS5 for a while, plus I imagine it would've been harder to get one closer to Christmas so thought why not. I'll definitely look those games up, thanks for the suggestions
