Will try Return to monkey island even if I really dislike the new art direction.
Pentiment seems really interesting. Not a bad start for this month

Is it just me or have these offerings become less and less impressive? There's nothing there I would consider paying for personally.

It's the best game on this list by a country mile. Put it to the top of your priority list don't want to hear excuses.

Thank me later.
I will put it at #3 maybe #2 for you. First from this batch will be Somerville.

Vampire survivor can wait, already spent alot of time via Steam

Might get Gamepass for two months to play Football Manager 2023 PC... cheaper then purchasing the game.

Did not expect VS and return to monkey island, that’s really good. In fact I didn’t even know they were coming to Xbox so that’s two good news in one.

Won’t play anything right now as my plate is more than full but will be nice to have stuff for the coming months.

Also going to have to buy Art of Rally, love this game.

Not really, if you are open minded about trying out different things. Some of my favourite games of the year have come out during these last few, supposedly bad, months.

And this first half of the month looks very promising. I would have played Monkey Island no matter what. I owe so much to that franchise. Somerville is a must for every Inside fan. I have no doubt Pentiment is going to blow my mind. I have heard only good things about Vampire Survivors and didn't even know it is going to come out on consoles. I'm curious about Tian Ding and I have no clue what Ghost Song is, but I will check it out.

You'd think with Xbox having zero big exclusives for at least the next 6 months they'd be putting the money in to make up for it within Gamepass, but instead...we have this (I get some of these games are "neat" small/indy titles, but they're not going to sell subs).

I mean they had Starfall scheduled for around this period and that got delayed by a year, so... what have they replaced it with? Nothing?

Are we really going to get to Christmas without a big surprise reveal?

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Return to Monkey Island, Vampire Survivor, Pentiment, Somerville, and Ghost Song all look interesting. Plus the huge update to Flight Sim. Fantastic start to the month!

Yep, and there's another second half of announcements left, plus September and October being packed full of great games. This last couple of months have been great for subscribers.

But it's always the same 2, 3 people, like clockwork in every game pass thread, who never find anything interesting :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Holy fuck return to monkey Island....what a get! Was this known to be coming?

Don't sleep on it I played on steam deck and it was everything I wished for!

Vampire survivors is also amazing, and eant to play pentiment...

Best service in gaming, untouchable.

No, I think this game pass announcement also doubles as the games official announcement for Xbox.

I imagine a PS4/5 announcement should be coming any time now.

I'll play through again on xbox but happy I gave Gilbert my money for a game that was so important to my teen years. It delivered in spades for me too. Hope it does well for them.

Monkey island is the only interesting game on that list to me. The rest I couldn't care less about.

Big Monkey Island fan so obviously gonna play that, but the art style is vomit inducing. Who the fuck signed off on that? Gonna try Pentiment too. I have a weak spot for weird games and this looks to fit the bill.
