Condemned goes PC. Anybody cares?

How will it deliver a better audio experience? That depends entirely upon the sound setup you have in each area.

PCs can go further posssibly better than the visuals in difference.

The only visual element that could improve would be resolution, but it's already plenty high on 360 *and* we know the FEAR engine was very demanding at higher resolutions. It's not like they will re-do the assets in higher resolutions or something...

The differences present will be minor and only those with very high-end PCs will see any improvements at all.

We'll see. It could be the pc version is utter rubbish. Either way i will get this game as i loved FEAR.

Hell yeah I'm looking forward to this. It's litterally the only 360 exclusive game I wanted to play and it's just way to early to get a 360 so it's just perfect.

if it runs like it does on the 360 at about 30 fps with some major dippage.

Yeah, I'd be curious to see if high end pc's can run this thing at 60 fps. I was disappointed with the frame rate on the 360 version. Still a great game, but the frame rate hurts it slightly.

Dark10x said it 60fps and he's a framerate whore.

Does it have AA?

Whoa, I wasn't saying that THIS game runs at 60 fps on 360. I was making a general statement that a 60 fps console game at 720p is tops for me.

Condemned does not run at 60 fps on 360. How many people were able to play FEAR on the PC at 1280x720 while maintaining 60 fps, though? Not many, I'd wager.

Oh :P Does it feature AA?

With FEAR you can just set textures to medium and watch the framerate fly with 1280 x 1024 AA and everything(no soft shadowing) on my 6800. It removes parallax maping up close sadly :P But my pc is quite old. New baby coming soon. :D

This should be much better on pc plus its not censored.

There's nothing censored about the 360 game, either.

Condemned is perfectly suited for consoles, I really see absolutely no benifit playing this on PC. 360 version FTW.

Yay, can't wait for this. I enjoyed FEAR and hope that this will be just as fun. Since there's no way I'm getting a 360 anytime soon (unless MS gives freebies at GDC), I'll hapilly run this one on my new computer.

Funny how the anti-PC group clings to the "but Condemned works better with a controller!" argument.

Here's a tip, fools: you can connect the same controller to the PC OR use K&M (which you can't on the 360).

*ZOMG!*

Didn't think about that, did ya?

Jesus you're just looking for something to argue about. THREE (3) people here said that they prefer a gamepad for a game like this and two of 'em are dark10x and Funky Papa. This is your "anti-PC" crowd?

Put your tinfoil hat back on.

At least I started it on the second page ;p

Seriously arguing about a control scheme is so 1990.

I downloaded the demo of Condemned and I really liked it, and I'm considering getting it for my second 360 game...But is it long enough to warrant the $60 purchase?

Nope. And very little incentive to replay it. It's a great rental though.
