So I started playing Condemned this past week, put in about two hours so far. I'm really, really liking this game. I'm a wuss when it comes to horror games so there have been plenty of scares. The combat is satisfying and I'm really digging the supernatural elements they're hinting at.
HOWEVER about 20 minutes into each session I'd start to feel sick. Like literally sick to my stomach, nauseous to the point where I had to pause the game and stare at the floor. This almost never happens to me. The only other FPS to do this was Turok 2, and that had to do with the horridly unstable framerate (even with the RAM pak). With Condemned it's not that the framerate is so erratic, but sometimes while looking around it starts to feel sluggish, like the sensitivity is momentarily set really low. I can't fully explain it, but it seems like it's done preemptively to prevent a noticeable dip in the framerate.
So I guess I want to see if a) anyone has noticed or experienced this in Condemned and b) if anyone has motion sickness issues in games. I really want to keep playing this game!
