That's a useless comparison anyways because "true" value doesn't exist and its entirely contextual to people's perception and their general financial state.
Basically, prices are always a suggestion and something is priced right only when people agree to buy it. And that's why, regardless of inflation, consoles aren't sold 700$+

Of course the fucking Gamecube is the cheapest of all. Such value on that thing. Prices on all of the Nintendo consoles are pretty fair even after inflation compared to other consoles.
