The latest issue of CoroCoro graces us with quite a bit of new info on the future of Pokemon.

First of all, Zygarde is getting not 1, but 3 new forms. The little green blob we've been seeing is Zygarde's core form that acts as its brain. He will also be getting a dog like form called Zygarde 10% as well as the golem like form we've seen in teasers, Zygarde Perfect Form.

Greninja is also getting a new look in the anime. Whether this is a form, mega or just a mutation has yet to be seen.

Finally, we've gotten the announcement of a new anime, titled Pokemon XY & Z. The meaning of "Z" has yet to be revealed, I'll let you all speculate for yourselves.

Are we sure it's a new form and not just a random Greninja mutation Ash (Satoshi) has? I know they've done X's pokemon for events and such before.

That's gotta be anime exclusive. I don't see them doing that in the games. Unless they do some dumb spiky eared Pichu thing again.

But I guess this means it'll be Z or XZ/YZ, and not X2/Y2. Which is good, X and Y really need to be improved upon. They don't need sequels.

Huh. Interesting. The final form looks like it has both he X and Y box art legendaries incorporated. Probably similar to Kyurem black and white versions.

Wonder if you'll have to start as just the baby version in a battle if you want to have the last version in battle. Similar to slow start ability, but with forms. Probably not, since that would suck, and be very similar to Digimon evelutions.

Either that or XZ and YZ. Maybe they'll go crazy and give us one called XY and one called Z. Would definitely make the anime title hold a bit more meaning. Either way, it pretty much confirms the current gen is sticking around for a bit longer.

I'll repeat what I said in the community thread about Zygarde Perfect Form being Gurren Lagann.

Also Zygarde's form from X/Y now seems to be Zygarde 50%.

Awesome. I was hoping Ash's inevitable mega would be Sceptile rather than the more obvious Charizard (Those were the only two major choices, since otherwise we have like Glalie and Heracross as the mega for Ash's last slot, and that seemed unlikely)

Hoopa is the lowest-grossing Pokemon film released in Japan.

TPC ain't going to drag this generation any longer for the sake of a standalone Volcanion film. Probably going to be in the next one with the new Zygarde form.

There wasn't a worldwide release at that time though (I remember getting it in Europe in october...2005). But I think it could release between the end of January and something like May.

I doubt they could get something much better and they would like to erase like 70% or more of their potential market

Masuda would want as many people as possible to play the Pokemon games. There's no way in hell that would happen. I could see enhancements at most but not a full out exclusive game.
