Get the hell out of here dude. Stick to Sony threads.

Theme of Crisis Core "under the apple tree", i love this theme. It fits Zack's tragic life well.

I'm almost willing to say it's the best soundtrack an FF game has ever had...
Mejilan said:I wasn't too impressed, really, especially with the new stuff. The classic FFVII battle theme remixes really sucked. Well, except for one, and no, not One-Winged Angel.

well, he is composing for a 360 (exclusive) game; so Im not surprised at his comment.Jonnyram said:Joke post?

What? :lol Yeah, because every 16-bit programmer that Square let's compose for them now to work on PlayStation FF games are automatically better than Uematsu. :lol FFS, he's only done about 3-4 OSTs and you've probably only listened to 2 of them at most... if that.SolidSnakex said:Isn't Uematsu composing it? Mejilan said:Haha, what? The venerable Nobuo Uematsu has handled more than 3 or 4 game soundtracks!
:lol By 'ordered' you mean 'downloaded,' right? Be honest! ;p
I was talking about Ishimoto, a synthesizer programmer that's been composing for S-E for a little while now.Mejilan said:Haha, what? The venerable Nobuo Uematsu has handled more than 3 or 4 game soundtracks!

Mejilan said:Gotcha. From what you were quoting, it seemed like you were talking about Uematsu. That said, by my count, he's worked on over a dozen albums for SE, and I believe he has composer credits for seven of them!
ethelred said:Really? I'm only aware of Takeharu Ishimoto serving as composer on Crisis Core, Before Crisis (I think -- not positive), It's a Wonderful World, and Dissidia. Two of those just came out this year, and the fourth isn't even out yet.
He did synthesizer work on Kingdom Hearts II, Vagrant Story (for which he remixed one of Sakimoto's songs), Legend of Mana, and Chain of Memories... but regardless, his resume as a composer is still pretty thin, and most people have only heard, at most, two soundtracks done by the guy.
