This remaster completely misses the point of what Crysis stands for.
It should be basically photo realistic graphics that can't be feasibly run on any computer for 10-15 years. You might ask - what the hell is the point in that? You won't sell any copies? That's right, it's a showcase for the engine. You make money licensing the engine. Just like how the original got so many devs using the Crytek engine, and how Unreal the game launched the Unreal engine and Half-Life 2 with the Source engine etc etc.
I think Crysis is more than a game, and the graphics are truly underwhelming for what this game should mean to the industry at large. This should be the benchmark of all benchmarks.
