Not to ruin the fun but doesn't sound like anything extreme?
I mean, The Witcher 3 ticks most of those, and that's not an extreme game by any stretch. A regular sex scene is enough to trigger many of those, the rest is just your regular videogame violence.

Sounds like marketing more than anything else.
Several of those descriptors are redundant and can be summed up as such:
(As per ESRB standards)
  • Intense Violence.
  • Blood and Gore.
  • Nudity.
  • Strong Sexual Content.
  • Strong Language.
  • Drug reference.
  • Use of Drugs.
And suddenly the game sounds like every other M rated title ever released.
I know people are hyped for this game but cool it with the hyperbole.
The original Deus Ex lets you kill children so I'm not impressed by this vacuous display of "maturity".

Personally I'm super cynical and don't believe that this game is gonna take any risks. I mean they're aiming for as wide of an audience as possible right? And AAA companies always play it super safe because of that.

It looks pretty impressive, until you realize that pretty much everything on that list would also apply to a game like The Witcher 3.

Maybe, maybe not.

What are you hoping for?

Weapon...without violence?

Everything seems like a vastly exageration to me. Not that I have problem with the content, but we don't have this excess of explanation in Brazil.

I'm worried that the PlayStation versions will be having none of it! Or is it just Japanese games that Sony doesn't like?
