Cant watch ATM. Anything new or is it just the E3 area again?
PC version wont be out day 1, unfortunately. Sometime shortly after console release.Pretty. I wish the game was coming out on the new consoles at launch.
Thankfully the PC version is out day one, though.
Kinda disappointed to see the guy blow through the area without a sweat, and not because he was some expert player. I know its probably an early area, but the enemy attacks do pretty meagre damage for a Souls game.

Very little guarantee it will come out for next-gen consoles.Looks damn good. Will pick this up in the future for PS4.![]()
Hope so. I just don't know why they'd show off this demo constantly, when it looks easy as hell.Nothing to worry about if what I played at GC was any indication. It's as hard as ever.

Source on that? Last I heard it was day 1.
Dark Souls 2 is scheduling your death for March 11, 2014 in North America, March 14 in Europe, and March 13 in Japan. Those dates apply to PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, while PC players must wait until "shortly thereafter," according to Namco Bandai. A spokesperson told us the extra time will allow the game to "fully capture all the necessary specs" for the PC audience.
The lighting effects look damn stunning.
I don't see why it would. It seems like it will look almost exactly like Dark Souls with DSfix.Durante, if DkS2 on PC looks like shit, will you fix it as well?
At least they are clearly releasing 1080p PC screenshots as marketing material this time around! They even seem to be downsampled.
It's also very clear that (at least on PC) the game natively implements VSSAO this time around (one of the AO types supported in DSfix):

Probably without the built-in downsampling. I could add that I guess. If people want.
It's the same algorithm. It's used in many games. They're surely not using my exact code, but I like to think that they noticed it fit the game well and therefore implemented it in DS2!Is it your exact same solution? Wonder if they are using your fix

Yep, that looks like VSSAO as well. Harder to tell from an off-screen video of course. There's some form of AO on the PS3 demo as well, it's visible at 7:34-7:45.

Resisting watching due to spoilers. Can't wait for this though. March is so far away.
Imagine FROM mentioning you in the credits :lol

They should.
I wonder if it's gonna be pitch black, or if you'll still be able to see a little...Man I can already see the speedruns w/o the torch in hand total darkness.
Is there any european site where I can preorder the special edition?
