Can you use the lightgun on a U.S. Dreamcast? Provided you have a boot disc/mod that can run the Japanese game

Gun absolutely doesn't work with the US version of HOTD2. SOA made sure of it.

Not sure about after using a mod disc. It's possible, I think it has to do with software, not with the US DC.
