So there's a chance down the line we could be playing this at 60fps on PC? Good news.

I rather see it on pc first, would be a stupid move from Kojima, if he would not allow high end pc's to run his game.

I would trust the store more than the blog. Dreams and Concrete Genie aren't on the blog but are in the store as well.
But TLOU 2 isn't under "Only on PlayStation" banner, so, it's coming to Epic Store. LOL

EDIT:

Didn't find TLOU 2 on Store. :D

Not if you are the creative making these things they aren't.
Depends if you are in it for the money or not. We'd get some really great mashups if corps didn't hold 100 year liens on human collective creativity.

E.g., imagine if werewolves and vampires were copyrighted in perpetuity by the Stoker family trust, how many derivative works would never have been made?

It was mentioned as coming to pc when it was revealed at e3 years ago. I thought it was common knowledge, I mean I remember it being said as such. I just assumed it wasnt listed for pc yet since kojima is working with Sony for it on ps4 first and foremost, or they hadn't nailed down the specs and such as they would port it to the pc from the finished ps4 product.

this is absurdly optimistic. copyrights have been used to screw over creatives for hundreds of years. take one look at the music industry, Taylor Swift is the wealthiest woman on the planet and she doesn't own her own master recordings. there is a long history of rights for music ending up in the hands of lawyers rather than creators. The Rolling Stones and Beatles were both cheated out of millions of dollars made from songs they had written and performed. this is a story repeated throughout the music industry and others.

copyrights and trademarks and licensing may make the world go round for money counters, but it is never a safeguard for the artists, since they can simply be purchased or signed away. very often the artist themselves do not own full rights to their work.

She doesn't own her Masters, because she signed them away when she signed her record deal. She needed the label back then, more than she does now. Most creatives understand that when they sign with a big corporations, that they don't own their work.

I always assumed that it was timed exclusive, and would eventually end up on PC and XBO. Like FFVII remake probably will.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is published by Square Enix so there's a good chance it will come to Xbox. Unlikely this will be the case for Death Stranding since it is being published by Sony, just like the newer games by Quantic Dream (Indigo Prophecy was published by Atari).

This sucks if it's true. I'm not buying a pro to get this at its best quality. If it ends up going to the X I simply have to wait. If it goes just to pc i'll still get it on my base ps4.

Not really, creatives are starting to feel it too...

Turns out it's darn near impossible to be original anymore.

Subconscious copying is a thing now.

It never was fully Ps4 exclusive. They said it will come to PC later since the begining. MAybe this alter is not actually much closer than we thought.

Because it will be cancelled for PlayStation and only release for XBox, OBVIOUSLY.

Concrete Genie is not on the exclusive list either.... pc gamers everywhere are going wild in anticipation. They’ve actually totally forgotten about Death Stranding.

Looks like the Sony partnership money ran out, so the marketing deal is over.

Can't wait for Death Standing on Xbox and PC!
Ya I'm expecting this on xbox and pc in a year
As can be seen in the official DS website Sony is the publisher of the game, the owner of the brand/IP/trademark and the game uses a game engine made by Sony. I assume that like in the Quantic Dream games and a few other titles Sony would allow them to release it in PC in addition to in PS4, that's all.

Sony doesn't publish games in non-Sony consoles, but sometimes ports some game to PC.

So forget the Xbox version.

All you can take away from this is that the Australian PSN store doesn't think Death Stranding is worth the ad space over these other games. Might even have to do with that they know the game will sell via retail more there than online because of large file sizes.

Basically this. Which in of itself is weird.
