Then when you're done, see how few are even close to his pts, assists and boards at that position...
Shall we go to the efficiency rankings? No, I don't think you'd like that...
Ok, let's see...
Kobe's putting up huge rebound/assist #'s this season, and I've always granted that and applauded it. 7.3 rebs and 7 assists/game to go along with 1.32 steals and 1.35 blocks/game. Oh yeah, 26.4 ppg on 39.7% shooting, and 4.67 TO's per game in 43 min/game. Let's contrast:
Lebron James (a second year player whom you constantly deride
25.2 ppg on 50.4% shooting, 7.1 rebs, 6.6 assists, 2.4 steals, 1 block and 3.44 TO's per game. In 41.3 min/game.
Dwayne Wade (also a second year player):
24.3 ppg on 52% shooting, 5.6 rebs, 7.3 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.18 blocks, 3.7 TO's in 38.6 min/game.
Based strictly on the #'s, you can't honestly say that you'd rather have Kobe on your team that either of those guys, who are doing more in far fewer minutes, and are more efficient in terms of FG% to boot.
