Steve Guest, the RNC's rapid response director, shared a video Thursday night that he said shows Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-La.) watching golf during the marathon 14-hour markup in which lawmakers debated the two articles of impeachment against President Trump.

“What on earth is Democrat Rep. Cedric Richmond watching on his laptop during this impeachment markup? To me, it looks like Rep. Richmond is watching the President’s Cup golf tournament. Richmond’s actions are a DISGRACE,” Guest tweeted.

Looks like he wasn't taking the impeachment seriously just like most others, more confirmation that this house impeachment nonsense is pointless and a waste of time. This is a guy arguing about how this is a dire situation and why the nations integrity is in jeopardy yet he's watching freaking Golf during the hearing and he's surrounded by people sitting next to him or walking by and they say nothing???

I mean, it is a circus. Don't blame the guy for not bothering to pretend to pay attention. It was a circus in 1998 with Bill Clinton as well (they voted on impeaching him on the basis on "abuse of power", "perjury", "obstruction of justice", sounds familiar, right? "abuse of power" didn't pass in the house, but the rest did.) It will also fail in the senate as the charges did. Sounding even more similar? And one political party's representatives calling out the others for trying to overturn an election, trying to impeach on shallow grounds and hating the president? It's all sound eerily familiar.
