Destruction AllStars: Split-Screen?

Is there an option for split-screen play in Destruction AllStars? It looks like a really fun multiplayer game, but I want to play it with my cousin locally and I’m not really interested in the online multiplayer as much.

I would like to know as well. I think it's possible with lower resolution and ray-tracing turned off. I hope they added it in.
