Also, the OG Xbox version of HL 2 sucked. Ran like ass. So there.
 
Retro is top of the list. They've never made a less-than-stellar game.

And people, stop saying Naughty Dog. Way of the Warrior is on my shelf just so I can show it to people for a good laugh, from time to time. It's not even subjective. It's BAD.

AM2 was my first thought on seeing this thread.


I don't think its just the younger generation, there's a lot of Sega blindness about. Too many people see them as just the Sonic company. Sadly it also explains why most of what we get from the company in the west these days (acquired devs aside) is Sonic.

You have the right idea. One look at each studio's output from their creation one would reveal very few bad games and typically only a few average games. That is some cream of the crop, HAL Labs-level quality, with such low recognition.

Hitmaker, Wow Studios, AM2, AM6/Smilebit etc. are almost all entirely unblemished.
