One of the greatest action games of the PS2 era arrives on Switch! Capcom delivers the goods with an extra multiplayer mode and a Freestyle combat option - but can it fix all the issues present in the HD Collection before it, and on PC? Tom gives it a full tech workout to find out.

Update: A clarification on our original upload that Switch does have the first two Devil May Cry titles on the eShop as well as DMC3, though not as the HD Collection package as seen on other consoles. Apologies for any confusion!

- 5GB install.
- 2 player support via co-op mode for Bloody Palace.
- SP has free style mode to allow changing play style via D-Pad.

- 1080p docked. 720p portable @ 60 FPS.
- Doesn't seem to have any AA on switch.
- Performance wise "Absolute success". Full 60 FPS with V-Sync with 30 FPS cut-scenes.
- No improvement on textures and PS2 movie/video files are still retained without any improvements.
- "Customization" menus are still in 4 : 3 as well.
- Effects like dust clouds when enemies are killed are running at 25% resolution of each axis's value in either docked/portable and look pixelated.
- Loading is 'near instant' between areas.
