Not having watched the video yet, so I'm just concentrating on the title itself:
Yes, Wii U ports to Switch is a good thing.
I've come to realize that ports from last gen to current gen are always a good thing because in most cases these games tend to be those kinds of games that everyone should experience.
Especially with Wii U games there have been a lot of people who missed out on some especially great titles because of Wii U's abysmal sales figures.
Games like Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, Captain Toad, Donkey Kong Country TF, Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D World and many more should be experienced by way more people.
In the case of Captain Toad and DKCTF I'm actually a bit surprised that we haven't seen ports to 3DS yet (seeing as Captain Toad is not THAT graphically or technically ambitious and DKCTF could probably be downported in the same style as DKC Returns), but that gives me all the more hope that we might see those games on Switch instead.
