It's not a good thing.
It's a GREAT thing.
Bring 'em on. Give me that DKC Collection I've been dreaming about.

Now that I have my Switch, I can say I wouldn't be opposed to double dipping for some Wii U ports. I've already bought MK8D and will be getting Pokken Tournament Deluxe day 1 (though, to be fair, I got the original Pokken a mere month before I decided to part ways with my Wii U).
Like others, I'd like to see Bayo 2 (don't really care about 1 again at this point, especially since I have it on PC these days), W101, and, hopefully, a definitive version of Hyrule Warriors. The version of Hyrule Warriors they ported over to 3DS really stunk. It was playable, barely, but was so stripped down compared to the Wii U version that it was a poor alternative to the original.
Not at all. You can get yours, too!
"Fuck you got mine".
If you ignore Arms, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Warriors, Fifa 17, and some other games I don't remember, then, sure, it more ports/remastered than new games. I mean, a new console having a lot of ports/remastered at first is just standard these days but, even on the PS4/XB1/Wii U, it wasn't more than the number of new gamesI rarely play remasters and ports. New consoles should get new games. As a Wii U owner there is still no reason for me to buy a Switch. Xenoblade 3 might win me over but I need more than one good argument to invest around 400. The Switch seems especially bad when it comes down to ports/remasters. It feels like there are more of them than actually new games.
If Xenoblade 2 is the only game that interests you that's either released, coming soon, or announced then I'd say you're probably not ever going to buy one.I rarely play remasters and ports. I certainly will. I am sure there will be a new Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Mario Kart, 2D Mario, Smash Bros, Pokemon and/or the one or other cool surprise game in the future. Metroid Prime 4 also interests me. Fire Emblem Warriors looks good but honestly there are like a dozen Warriors games on PS4 already. Not really a reason for a new console. Right now the lineup isn't good enough for me personally. And yeah I really don't care for ARMS and Splatoon at all. Mario Odyssey might be fun but I am not a fan of the 3D Marios. I will get this when I get a Switch but it's not a reason to buy the console. If Xenoblade 2 is the only game that interests you that's either released, coming soon, or announced then I'd say you're probably not ever going to buy one.
TMS and Xenoblade are the only ones I want.
Switch will never get NintendoLand. Ever.No hidden gem left on wiiu.
Also Dreamcast and gamecube virtual consoles please. No need to remake it like the dude said.

1080p Codename STEAM *_* that game needs a second chance, let it have it on The SwitchI honestly don't mind as long as they keep putting out new games as well (which they are) and aren't just relying on ports. I think it would even be pretty cool to see some 3DS stuff get ported over, it would be nice to see Luigi's Mansion 2 in 1080p with some good AA.
If one released port/remaster and one more announced unreleased port/remaster feels like more than all the new games then I don't know what to tell you.I rarely play remasters and ports. Not really. Most of the games actually performed well in spite of the install base, only a few the titles in the Wii U library could be considered bombs. Basically just W101, TMS, and Devil's Third were bombs, and only Devil's Third was a bad game.
Not really.

This remains a bad example....
Keep posting it doesnt change that.
