Do they ever actually explain how they keep coming back? How many times have they been re-re-resurrected?I'm hyped. I'm sure the dozens of us who still like this game are excited as well.

You can't kill them because they just reform in the Black Abyss within the Burning Hells. All attempts to contain them ultimately fail. I do believe the only way to actually get rid of them would require destroying the Black Abyss. Which is a pretty tall order considering the kind of power you'd need to do that. That's without even considering the power and resources you'd have to expend just to get there and fight off the hordes of Hell as you attempted it.
At least, that's what I've come to understand.
Not necessary gameplay-wise, the builds/play styles haven't changed much. But the progression and gear systems are vastly different now.I still haven't played the first expansion.
Hell, I haven't played D4 after beating it at launch. From what I've read, they're made a lot of changes over the year so it's probably gonna feel like a brand new game.

Absolutely. I think that's the biggest pull of diablo-like game, D4 is not different.Did the progression alter your character's power curve? I only played through the campaign once, but new gear never seemed to give you wild swings. The game just felt so falt in that regard.
So you're saying there is a chance?

You were barely scratching the surface for beating the campaign. End game builds are normally vastly more powerful.
When you finally got the key piece equipment after serious grind, and it drastically transcends your build into a slaughter machine, that sense of empowering was really satisfying.
Diablo 3 was just a much more interesting game to progress through and leveling up your character brought more surprising and fun abilities. Diablo 4's classes feel so flat and soulless.I had my reservations with the leveling up system and thought Diablo 3 did it better, let's see if the new style is more to my liking.
Just play Path of Exile or Grim Dawn or something like thatIs there any chance they might make separate Diablo series aimed at following up Diablo 2 catered towards those fans?
Seems like they did a pretty good job on Resurrected though I don't know how well it did.
