Digital Foundry - Just Cause 4 PC First Look: Next-Level Physics.

Rich takes a look at near-final PC code for Just Cause 4, showing off some of the game's most insane physics, including the impact of the game's remarkable weather system. It's a substantial upgrade over Just Cause 3, but after that game's launch issues, what kind of hardware do you need for a good experience with JC4?

Every scene from this series, out of context, makes it look like the greatest game ever made. But then you play them and their the most boring games imaginable. I don't understand how you can create this sandbox, and then design your game around shooting billboards.

Physics look fine but destruction falls waaaaaay too short compared to Red Faction and Mercenaries series, and the latest installments came out 10 years ago..

Yeah it's a shame really. A lot of the stuff in trailers and promotional material looks nice but then you get the game, play around with the fun physics for an hour or two and you are sort of over it.

Hopefully this time it's different. If they go beyond just making cool physics and actually build a fun game around them this could be a lot of fun
