With EDM being almost entirely digital now the scenes have become much more intertwined. Today you are going to hear the same tracks and the same DJs no matter what side of the pond you are on.

Except that's not how the culture is meshed in with popular culture. There's no way in hell the DJ culture manifested in Europe is accepted in the same vein as it is here in the US. The music crossover is just that, some overlap.

The published music list for this game so far largely fits with the public perception of what "DJ music" is here in the US. That's considerably less true in Europe.

But I digress.

This is a British game. I wouldn't make assumptions based purely on a list of the songs being sampled. Most the mixes I've heard don't sound overly American or European. But I don't pretend to be an expert in Electronic culture.

I wish the gameplay snippets were a bit longer than 30 seconds, but I'm still digging the music.

Also, the more I think about it the harder it is to justify the Renegade edition. If it came with the game's soundtrack, I would most definitely. I just don't know.

Eh, I know what Frequency is. Hell, I have Frequency and Amplitude, but what you're saying if very rudimentary. You may as well call GH the next step from DDR since it has notes that you have to hit in a line to the music. DJ Hero is very much it's own thing in terms of gameplay.
