Genjutsu was really underused, it ended up becoming an almost sharingan thing only so we only saw the most OP applications of it.(and frog song which was just as OP)

Genjutsu was one of the many things in Naruto that was honestly busted as hell, so naturally it had to be downplayed imo
The 8 Gates basically made Guy so strong he was bending space with his attacks. It was cool as fuck but still had me shaking my head a bit.
If it wasn't a Sharingan it was worthless (exaggeration)
I do remember when Sakura was the expert, because he needed to give her something in part 1 but didn't do anything iirc
Then she had more useful abilities by being discount tsunade and still didn't do anything

I dunno. I thought it made sense, especially given Naruto's character. You're fighting what is essentially the god of all Chakra who can manipulate all the elements.
What do you do when your enemy can do anything? Do something unexpected. It's stupidly brilliant really.
If I was in the middle of an intense gunfight and all of a sudden naked women starting running into the battlefield, I'd be pretty confused too.

It takes days for sperm to reach egg. I'm not that familiar with Naruto, but my understanding is that his clones are far too short-lived to even fertilize.

Genjutsu used for therapeutic purposes (getting over that ninja village war ptsd) or having a brothel where the workers never actually have to touch a customer sounds interesting. I kind of wish Naruto (and a lot of pretty much any media) had more world building. It's just as interesting to me to see how people integrate what's essentially super powers into their ordinary lives.

The OG series during the first Wave arc and really the best arc I feel now in retrospect as I got older, it felt like they were going to touch more upon that but , nah. Few and in-between. The series mostly devolved to leveling up OP nonsense.

Okay so when the fuck did ninjas in Naruto just forget they can turn into anything? Like using their transformation jutsu can literally become anything they can think of. Like, for instance, Sakura could turn herself into a table or something. I feel that they all forgot they could do that.
