Do you kill insects?

Killing an insect makes easy food for whatever is hungry for insect parts. Doesn't matter if it lives or dies, it will circle back eventually. At least killing it now insures a longer survival of something else. Whereas letting it live leads to possibly more of those fuckers.

My answer: I don't really give a rats ass what it's doing as long as it isn't a mosquito.

I kill any insect that comes inside my house, but outside I try to let them live. Unless of course it's an ant or wasp infestation in my yard, then yeah I kill that too.

Mosquitos always. Flies if there's food around. Cockroaches inside the house. Nothing else. Every single other thing I've ever killed I ate afterwards.

I also go with the "kill everything inside my home but leave them alone outside" route.

I even play with wasps outside when they are eating from my food, like, even "petting" them.

I open only the window that have fly screens (I have them for each room), so I very rarely have insects at home anyway.

Oh but if they attack first I kill these fuckers (mosquitoes etc.)

Really try to avoid it if I can for the most part. Used to be terrified of them, but now I typically find them more fascinating and just try and let them go about their business.

mosquitoes and flys (in the house) for sure.

killed a big spider on saturday with my phone. he almost go away under the couch.

basically anything inside the house (minus lady bugs) are fair game. i can't be bothered outside

I've often wondered if there are other animals that just indiscriminately kill insects. It's a curious thing I noticed that my base instinct is to kill any bug that I feel is in my 'territory'. I have to actually fight the impulse to kill spiders or centipedes that aren't really doing me any harm.

Mosquitoes and flies: smash. Centipedes: spray with window cleaner, hate those fucks. Spiders: they're cool.

I usually leave predatory insects like spiders and centipedes alone (although spiders who build webs in obnoxious places may be terminated). Things like flies, gnats, moths, and mosquitoes are killed promptly.

I kill spiders in my room all the time , but anywhere else I leave it alone
Spider bros

Mosquitos almost instantly, hate those fucks

Ants nope, I used to when I was a kid but not anymore

I kill pest insects.

Mosquitoes, Roaches, Flies, Fleas, Termites etc... otherwise I go out of my way to not harm them. (Bees, Butterflies, Spiders)

Mosquitoes and wasps/hornets yeah.

I really don't want to kill spiders but if they are inside the house and larger than 3" (the diameter of a Pringle can or so) then I usually don't have much choice unless it lets me catch it for a release outside.

Spiders, moths, wasps and those tiny flies that fly right in my face have to die.

Pretty much everything else i try to usher out the window or leave it alone.

Outside my house everything gets a free pass. Inside my house they're getting a Raid smack down. I make exceptions, spiders just get evicted.

I kill everything except spiders in my house. Spiders actually keep your house free of other pest insects and they usually just chill in the same spot out of the way. Now if it's a wolf spider or another huge one that likes to explore around, yeah I'll go apeshit on that guy.

Any sort of bees or wasps. They are pure evil, all of them. They sting me for no reason, even when I'm just sitting on my couch minding my own business. I dispatch them with extreme prejudice.

If it's in my house or on my porch, it dies.

Just had a couple of big freakin' argiope spiders start hanging around my house. One on the front porch and one on the back. They're about two inches long, big freaky looking things.

I only kill roaches and mosquitos. I just pickup spiders/moths/beetles/etc and throw them through the window.

Ants only if theres more of them.

Flies, bees and wasps, I lead them out.

edit: If they're in my house ofc. I don't kill anything outside

They all deserve to die for daring to enter my home. Each and every one, as well as spiders.

Spiders are not insects, guys.

I avoid killing insects unless they're attacking me (mosquitoes). I'm also against using them in tv shows (like fear factor). Even if I'm disgusted or fear them, killing is a last resort. Not that I care that much, I don't care about the hundreds of insects I kill driving my car, but if there's no need, why kill them? I'm sure mr.cockroach has a family to go to.
