Do you trust bad dreams when...

...in your dreams, your significant other's cheating on you? I mean, it's only a dream, but still, does that mean the doubt was there subconsciously before or after? I feel so effing blind, in more ways I'd care to admit. So, am I paranoid or what?

There's actually dream interpreters that will say that a significant other cheating on you in a dream is a sign of your own insecurity about the relationship and not of that person. Then again, believing in crap like that ranks up there with getting your palm read by a psychic.

Haha...I had a dream where my ex was chasing after a friend of mine. Lo behold, it actually happened.

But before jumping into conclusions that dreams = psychic, it was because I met that friend the day before and thought, "I bet my ex would dig him." and probably just played it all out in my mind.

Wow, my dreams are so much more abstract than this. I don't even bother trying to interpret them.

Dream don't mean a whole lot. They're just random thoughts that may be related that are on your mind and get turned into more or less a cohesive episode. If you feel insecure about your relationship or think that she might be cheating on you then yeah this could pop up.

There is definitely no way for your dreams to be psychic or anything. If it is true you were already under the impression it might be before you dreamt it or its pure coincidence.

But yeah, stop being paranoid man. Dreams don't mean shit.

Lies! Last night I had quite a few powerful dreams and there was something about bears or something along those lines. I wake up and there is a delivery for my older Brother for this giant brown bear, which is sitting open in a cardboard box staring at me in the front of our house.

Should I be worried GAF?

I don't know, sometimes I put a lot of weight in my dreams depending on how vivid they are. I know it's cliché to think my dreams have power, but I don't know. It's not like I can flat out ask him if he's cheating on me. And it's also pretty obvious to play the whole "would you lie to me" angle. I pray it's just my paranoia. It's just easier to judge these things from the outside. If there is another woman... I need super-subtle hints. Advice?

Tell him that you had a dream that he cheated on you and see what his reaction is? Would that be too bold?

Yeah, of course you run the risk of misinterpretting it. I would assume he isn't cheating unless you get a STRONG feeling that he is.

If you can't think of a reason he would be cheating on you outside of this dream there is no reason to even worry about it at all.

Start small "I had a dream where you were humping a couch... that changed into Gary Shandling... that changed into two guys in a horse costume... that changed into an attractive girl. and stayed that way. for a long time. and you were into it. What do you think that means?"

"You know, it was just one of those crazy dreams we all have - HAHAHA!"

Last night consisted of me hanging out with Obama while he did some killer dance moves. I don't recall every being impressed in a dream before.

I wonder how far his campaign is going with their ads :lol

I've always felt dreams are a reflection of self not anyone else. I suspect you dream is more about your own self worth and confidence not your girls.

Dreams are just dreams I guess. I just wish I didn't have so many damn nightmares. I swear my record was like over three dozen one night and it completely messes up your day. I go bed trying to dream about bikinis, beaches, smurfs, tropical islands and I get serial killers, rapists, molesters, alien underwater buffalo like creatures, whatever, always with me being the only one to caught on to their evil deeds. That or those stupid dreams where I have to choose which cat or person in my life to save.

Oddly enough, I've always thought dreams were our alternate universes.

So to go off of that thought, maybe if situations were different, and different choices were made, that could be a real possibility.

Who knows for sure :)

To dream that your mate, spouse, or significant other is cheating on you, indicates your fears of being abandoned. You may feel a lack of attention in the relationship. Alternatively, you may feel that you are not measuring up to the expectations of others. This notion may stem from issues of trust or self-esteem. The dream could also indicate that you are unconsciously picking up hints and cues that your significant other is not being completely truth or is not fully committed in the relationship.
