With the Rare Replay, Final Fantasy VII, Shenmue 3, South Park, The Last Guardian and so forth, does Nintendo really have a chance at winning E3 this year?

I have owned everything since the SNES, but short of a Pokémon MMORPG, I can't see how Nintendo even has the slightest chance of wiinning this E3, even more so when we almost certainly know there won't be anything more shown on NX, Zelda or Smash.

Which game, if any, would make Nintendo win E3 for you?

This thread will be locked, but to answer your question. Yes. They still have a chance. Just announce the flagship IPs and both Sony and MS are done...

Since I really only interested in Shenmue III of those you listed, they could for me, personally.

Weird question.

Because what one Nintendo fan wants, another couldn't care about. They could win it with "one" game for somebody, or not at all with a dozen of new titles.

You must defeat Shenmue to stand a chance!

But if you ask me, Diddy Kong Racing 2 would I think be HUGE...right? I mean, everyone has wanted that for years.

Or a new Metroid, I guess.

Didn't sony just announce a bunch of multiplats? FF7 and Shenmu both seems to be multiplatform.

Yes, a kickstarter announcement, an hd classics collection, a cg trailer with no release date, a basic puzzle platformer with questionable ai based on the footage, and an admittedly cool looking south park sequel are solid but not insurmountable.

Not in the mind of the gaming public, no. Not like last year. I don't really care about any of the announced Sony games personally, so they haven't even beaten MS for me, though I guess I might pick up Shenmue 3.

What kind of weird question is this? Why don't we just look at E3 as a whole and enjoy it instead of console wars-ing this?

a) winning E3 doesn't actually mean anything
b) no, unless Zelda not being there was a total lie and they announce like a metric shit-ton of crazy awesome games that people have been asking for forever (which... I feel like Sony has covered most of the major ones), there's little to nothing that they can show that will... ugh... "win" them E3

Not a mod, just a bot.
It's E3. Please don't post quick reaction threads like "Wow Sony just won E3!", "Where's Rare's game???", "How will the other conferences match Ubisoft's?!?!", "Wow every game had playable female characters", "Was GAF's hype for Fallout premature?", and other threads that are basically quick reactions you wrote up just a few minutes after seeing something on a conference or reading something on GAF. During E3 lots of news and announcements are breaking and it can be hard to keep track of it all. Low content reaction threads make it hard for users to find what they're looking for, and because passions are running hot they also tend to lead to messes. If you just wanted to make a quick comment, try to make it in reply to the relevant thread. If you still believe this requires a thread, polish it up a bit and re-post when stuff cools down no earlier than Friday. Thanks. You can check this policy post for more information.
