Doing the real 2 weeks quarantine

my workplace in japan ask us to work from home, that’s was final February, coronavirus just started.

I walk near combini or go to the park walk my dog, some time I do go further but every day I go outside the apartment buy ice cream. For 10 months I don’t see friend, don’t go drinking or downtown.
Not a problem.

now I moved to Taiwan 🇹🇼 as corona cases in japan are crazy up (4000 a day?), plan to go back japan in June if cases are down.

doing the quarantine for 14 days, absolutely NOT going out, have to answer the phone with my health status every day and a SIM card with gps in case I step outside the door.

people put food in front of the door and run aways lol.

it feels strange. Lols
Just that.

I had to do a 2 week quarantine when I was travelling for work and it is mentally draining. Good luck man, if you need some porno mags, I ain't sharing.

Everyone thought this was coming in the US. This is why our empathetic "care about others" society ran out and bought every bit of supplies we could

I like the story op continue to stay poised during this quarantine time not trying to hype you but Japan is a really good country, it’s a rough virus for sure.

Thats kinda fucked up. Life goes on as usual pretty much here in Germany. I am enjoying the benefits of not having to commute with sweaty students and old people on the train so this pandemic actually improved my life in a way. Our company only had home office 1 day of the week. Now I can do my work from home every single day. I can still go out and apart from having to wear masks, everyone does the same shit they did before.

If you're building has an accessible roof, just go up there and chill if you need to. GPS is X/Y coordinates but not Z.

From what quarters are the ‘care about others’ society coming from? I thought the general population stopped caring in the 90s with the whole welfare queen thing.
