McConnell wont call back the Senate early. They return on the 19. He will be out of office. If convicted he will be banned from running again.

13D chess, impeachment is the american way of creating a horcrux, he intended for this, the more he gets impeached the safer his soul is.
I've actually just read something pretty much like that on one of the more right leaning sites, apparently it's part of the plan, and he'll use the trial to present the evidence of the election fraud......

People still believe!

Ok so when do they do AOC, Nancy and all the others that incited the BLAMTIFA riots leading up to the death of an innocent man in Portland?

How about you, or anyone else, provide proof that they incited violence - as opposed to protest? Memes from Facebook don’t count. AOC’s a twat, but I’ve seen nothing to suggest she actively incited people to riot.

If you're waiting for Democrats to hold each other to the same standards they hold everyone else, you'll be waiting a whlie.

In hindsight, storming the Capitoll was very convenient for Democrats.

COVID, too. Lots of worst-things-ever conveniently tipping scales in blue's favor.

not really. democrats already had biden and the senate. you could argue it helps the republican party because it allows a lot of them a great opportunity to bail while wiping their hands from the past 4 years. trump destroyed the republican party. it's splintered like the democrats are now

Imagine removing every single politician for this reason: “inciting violence against the government.”
There were no politicians left.

10, and that makes this the most bipartisan impeachment vote in history.

Still a minuscule number indicating that the Republican party has not actually completely turned on him for one reason or another.

They quite literally need 10x the enthusiasm for impeachment from Republicans in the Senate in order to get a conviction through.

We'll be hearing about Trump for years to come either way. CNN's ratings demand it.
You ain't wrong. Same as how right wing networks treat Clinton though.

True. we need some insane witness testimony such as from the people around Trump that leaked that he was excited as he watched the riots and refused to stop it. Will republicans be able to block witness testimony again without the senate majority?
