if you make the order before they change it back they really have to honor it. basic rule of retail really... you make a fuck up, you pay the price. That's pretty much the rule where i work.
I don't know. I guess I've seen one too many CAG deals where they end up cancelling the order (And sometimes still charging the card... Though EB isn't ghetto like some of the stores that get listed), or they just end up shipping you the right product (i.e. the bongoless game for 39.99). I still remember how many people ordered the Logitech Driving Force Pro from BB and were all excited how cheap it was. But by checking the SKU, you knew the title was wrong and you were getting something else. Yet a bunch of people did it and those that didn't eventually cancel the order got the lame Nascar wheel (And were miffed about it).
Stores aren't actually required to honor pricing mistakes, though. It's entirely up to their discretion. Online stores in particular will just cancel your order or ask that you pay the higher price.
I can't think of any recent mistakes that were actually honored. Outpost let a few $4.99 games slip through, but I think those were the ones that were supposed to be $4.99 in the first place.

CAG'ers are saying to call EB on the phone and tell them what's up. They've changed a few people's orders to $39.99 for the Jungle Beat + bongo set. So you guys might have some luck in getting it for $39.99

That's great for your customers, but every single place has fine print somewhere saying that they're not responsible for typos and errors. I've tried a bunch of these, and they've all been canceled. It's not worth the time.
