Great documentary released today looking back at the TV channel ahead of it's time...ie the Sega channel, it should have been more successful than it was, problem was that when launched in 1994, the Mega-Genesis was already in it's twilight years, and hype was building up for the Saturn...had this channel launched 2 years earlier it's fate might have been better...

I had Sega Channel for a little bit, it worked pretty damn well. It was way ahead of its time.

One thing that did suck (and the instructions mention this) is that your saves are stored in the same storage as the games, and all their storage is managed automatically. If you download games, it will delete older games if necessary to make room, including your saves, without warning.

I had a late game Phatasy Star IV save that was lost this way. I decided to check out some other games, nothing bad happened and my save was still there. So I downloaded one more, then my save was gone forever.
