What we need is Axe shilling Axe body spray every time he gets a kill.
great game.
How stable is this game? It crashes on me like every 1 in 5 play sessions. My computer is fine.
I think it's you. I've never had, or heard of anyone having, problems even close to that before.
It was amazing! ...first competitive match I've watched and wow. That Dendi fellow is something else. And the farm on that Druid. And the jungling Pugna. HOW!? seriously, I can only dream of being that good. I'm getting better though...
Wait, what the Na'Vi?
It was great too because all of puppey's standard junglers were banned, and then they picked shadow demon so he couldn't do that either (he's done it recently) and he's still like fuck you I'm gonna jungle an int.
If memory serves, he stacked a medium (?) camp whilst pulling/farming the easy camp, then farmed the medium camp with a smoke and multiple Nether Blasts.
Does anyone know if VODs of the Na'vi matches today are going up anywhere? I was at work and didn't get to see them.![]()
Looks like League of Legends is adding a Spectator mode, and I have to admit, if it works as well as it is shown, I am impressed:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqT14k6BsC0&feature=g-u-u
Notable features are the fact that you can actually rewind in a live game and play with the speed controls, and that the directed camera has a function that allows you to tell it that you want to watch something else, and disable the bulk of the hub. There also doesn't seem to be any delay in rewinding, which is something that LoL's Engine completely trumps source in.
Lets see if Valve will try to outdo them even more.

So basically, tied in with rewinding/slow mo, the level of control/editting that professional sports games have? That would be pretty amazing. Have the casting going on one page, be all wtf just happened and hop on to the other screen to rewind to a certain point while still seeing the live game in progress on the main screen and fullscreen/pip a replay made on the fly to viewers on the main screen... Now my hopes are too high and I'll be disappointed with what valve does do.Picture in Picture with multi-monitor support.
Do it Valve, it's time to up the ante.

I hope it comes out as fast as magma chamber and the model updates came out.

I think you can dig around for them on Purge's twitch.tv channel. GGnetPurge or something like that
This type of stuff is why I hope Valve keeps the way smoke works with Jungle Creeps, it opens up stupid tactics like this.
I definitely agree. You have to put gold in to get gold out, and it could potentially open the jungle to more unconventional heroes. Provided it isn't wildly unbalanced (doubtful, the Pugna merely obtained the equivalent of solo lane XP/gold [though probably less of the latter]), I think it'd be a clear win from a game mechanics and strategy standpoint.Agreed, I love all these weird jungle smoke strats.
I hate Puck. He's the reason I never go random.

Now heres the trick: press X twice (or more times) then C twice (or more times) and you will find that the two razes will actually come out faster than if you just clicked once. This is because Nevermore delivers his raze when his hands are in the airtheres an animation of his hands coming back down that that corresponds to that 0.2 second delay.
Pressing the C key twice is a bit like using S key except youre cancelling out his after-animation (thats how I try describe it). Technically, you can press X then press S immediately after Nevermore delivers the raze, but its just that much safer if you just press X twice then C twice, because with S youre risking cancelling that raze.
Nothing like going 20/5/15 with Death Prophet only to lose because everyone on the team is clueless, including the 0/7 Omniknight who buys a fucking RADIANCE instead of a Sheep stick or something to disable the enemy carry.
What possesses an Omniknight...with no kills in 40 minutes...to decide the best way to help is to buy a RADIANCE?????????
!!1?!??
What's your real plan.
Anyone got a link to the game? Everyone's raving about it, I'd love to watch it.

Matchmaking is bizarre.
I was in a game with an Invoker that had 430 odd wins. The next highest was 46 (on either team). Despite that, however, he wasn't particularly good. He went 7-5-7 which was the best for his team, but there certainly weren't any huge plays coming from him. His profile even said that Invoker was his best character. I found it funny when he tried trash talking because we bought a gem. Oh noes, we're getting one item to shut down the best player on your team.
We won but 'twas strange.
Above your post.
