I wouldn't call AL new, I think they just underestimated the 1 - 4 strat that Zenith were using. If they would have 5 v 5 earlier I think AL would have won, but zenith was smart and just avoided it.

It was a joke lol. Just can't believe how hard they ignored AM, is it possible to outcarry AM? Sure, but as we all just saw it's not a good thing to try and do..

Mostly it's not a good thing to try to outcarry an am if you don't have an hard carry. Probably they just thought that ignoring the antimage completely they could push faster and win teamfights with the levels on dark seer.

I do not see your point. When people use the word rape they obviously mean the other definition.

What you're doing is similar to saying that it's okay that you called someone a jackass because jackass also means donkey.

If you're going to attempt to lawyer yourself out of looking like a crass bozo, you could at least do it competently. "Rape of the countryside" and "rape of a human being" are not equally neutral figures of speech, given the latter implies a tangible and traumatic violation of a thinking, feeling being (whereas the former can only exist in a loose metaphorical sense). Set down the dictionary and pick up a book on common fucking sense.

I would generally agree with your point, but the last time I had this conversation was over Steam sales and how they would rape one's wallet.

Which, to me, even if someone meant the other definition the only one that makes sense is plunder.

But I'm not sure how this is related to Dota 2. The vods from today (with AL), will they be up on Purge's channel or is there a separate place to get them?

The other definition is inapplicable in this case. 9999/10000 times it is used in pvp games like dota 2, it is used on a person or a group of people where it does not mean the plunder definition.

It's a really shitty defense of the use of the word.
 
Leshrac is so much damn fun. Wound up going 10-2 in the game I just played, item-wise I went for healing and tankability: Urn, Mekansm, Arcane Boots, and Bloodstone. Had the Mek completed by 15 minutes, and I enjoyed dishing out a fair amount of heal & hurt.
