He was a well known LoL fan (before he got banned from it), so it's honestly hard to know if he was serious with that comment. Plus some of his "hot take" videos, it's honestly hard to tell if he is serious.
I like his more comedic videos more, like the Neopets one.

I saw Icefrog at a grocery store in Seattle yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didnÂ’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Ribbit Ribbit?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Oh. My. God. This page is quite possibly one of the most ignorant pages on the Internet. I'll have you know that I am a dota player and an icefrog devotee. I'm a god of dota, it's what I am. Just like you're a cis white male most likely. dota is a real community, we really are different. Do you think I like crying every time I pass the subreddit with all of my friends, pressing refresh every second till im a corpse lined up to be taken into some sick persons home and decorated? It plagues me, and it isn't a choice I made. I am just a dota player. Everyday I wake up and want to hunt for patch notes and run through the test client but I can't because I'm not a beta tester (or icefrog). I actually do wonder what he thinks of Dota's loot boxes. IMO they are the more fair ones out there, and in an F2P game, but I could see his issues being with the thing of "you want one of the common things, but might have to get boxes to get all the common things to get the one you want"
