I think we could see a few at TGS, the maybe a couple between then and TGA/PSX... DBFZ has genuine excitement surrounding it and I think it will appear at the big shows too. Hopefully!
TGS is gonna be huge for this game I think. My expectation is Beerus and Black get a trailer and at the end of the trailer in and out of a black screen to reveal Yamcha in his famous pose. :3

Same! I can see it being Yamcha and Tien or a load of Super characters; there's no real pattern, especially with the way they did the trailer for Piccolo/Krillin/18/16/SSGSS Goku and Vegeta!

Possible but they sure need to bring the goods on these shows.
Ask yourself this, what would bring more hype? Goku Black or Tenshinhan?
The answer is obvious.

That actually reminds me, when will the reveal trailers start using English voice acting? If Funimation still recording the dub for this game?

I know the thread is littered with wish lists, so what's one more? Without factoring in actual roster count, these are the characters I think should make the base roster cut:
- Beerus (w/ a Whis assist)
- Teen Gohan
- Gotenks
- Tien (w/ a Chiaotzu assist)
- Yamcha
- Master Roshi
- Raditz
- Nappa
- Captain Ginyu
- Jeice
- Burter
- Recoome
- Guldo
- Dabura (w/ a Babidi assist)
- Super Buu
- Kid Buu
- Uub
- Pikkon
- Bardock

Why though
TGS character reveals, hmm...
DBS characters have a pretty good shot, especially Beerus, Hit and Goku Black.
Other than that, characters that would generate hype...
There's Buu saga characters like Ultimate Gohan, Gotenks, Vegito, and maybe Super Buu/merged Super Buu/Kid Buu, one of the 3. (Also obligatory Mr. Satan)
Cell saga wise we're pretty much set, and saiyan/frieza saga wise I'm not sure if they'd be fitting to be revealed on TGS.
There's Nappa and Ginyu, maybe Raditz and Recoome for villains, there's Tenshinhan and Yamcha for heroes, these are the kind of characters that would probably be revealed over time and not at TGS, I think?
Then there's movie and specials characters, with Bardock and Brolly being especially popular.
So for TGS reveals, I guess we'll get either DBS reveals, Buu saga reveals, or movies reveals.

I hope Black w/Zamasu is shown at TGS.
My ideal scenario:
Goku Black playable. Level 3 is Zamasu running in, pinning down the opponent and Goku Black doing the stab through Zamasu into the opponent.
And then Merged Zamasu as a separate playable character. He's the best pure villain since Kid Boo, he deserves to get in, assuming they didn't finalize the roster too early.

Actually, Super Buu was only stronger than Kid Buu when he was fused with Gotenks or Ultimate Gohan.
Also, every villain is more interesting than fucking Broly.
TGS needs to be here already.

I'm ready to reenact Vegeta's beatdown on him, yea.
If there's DLC (most likely since Bandai Namco), I think a DLC pack with Merged Zamasu, Vegito Blue and Ikari Trunks (missed opportunity in Xenoverse 2...) would be interesting.
Base roster wise though, I don't think they'll have many Super characters there due to how limited it'll be. As nice as it would be to have more, I think it'll be very unlikely to get more than Beerus, Hit and Goku Black.

That last one would make an awesome Level 3 probably. That or the beam sword one that every always posts the gifs of.
I agree that they need to announce Hit, Beerus and Goku Black all at once with a tagline of "The 3 Super stars are here" or just something idk. Those 3 are damn near locks so get them out of the way before we can spend time on the other characters who have a lesser chance like a Tien or a Yamcha or DB Roshi. Those will be far harder to predict.

That's an interesting list, I'll say. A lot of choices on here I don't agree with though.
No super characters, but with the whole Ginyu force which includes characters like Burter who's power is blue lasers and Jeice who's power is red lasers. Of course Pikkon the two episode filler character should get in before characters who might bring creativity to the game as well.
Well you've always been wrong. In fact this thread just spent the last two pages explaining why you're wrong, pay attention.
Super seems to give less of a shit about power levels, which is part of the reason I like the show. More characters feel relevant again. And yeah, I don't really care if Kid Buu is stronger/weaker than Super Buu

Bardock is a bigger roster spot waste than Guildo, Jeice, and Burter. Bardock was a more interesting character when the Ocean dub decided to make him a poor warrior and a brilliant scientist.

Sticks out visually, has a sword, and has spit that can turn you into stone. I could understand why someone would cape for him in a franchise where variety is desperately desired.
I think people have had the answer for the Ginyu Force implementation from essentially the beginning of this thread... As one character they would be super hype, as separate characters they would be incredibly bland.
That's the list people were throwing around on the DBZcardgame forums back in the early 2000s as well. It's accurate.
Well yea, I'm all for Ginyu being playable and calling the others for attacks and I'm pretty sure that he's going to be in with exactly that playstyle. The others certainly don't deserve their own slot, for the most part

That's what I've been suggesting since Day 1. Have Ginyu be the playable character and have the others be part of his moveset. We only need Ginyu.
A DLC alternate skin for this could be the Pride Troopers from Super
