Dragon Ball Super English Dub Thread

Sorry guys took me awhile to get back to the thread this week but the preview is changed.

Vegeta hasn’t been pushed to blue yet but I liked how he just effs up the arena and the classic attacks was a cool touch. Though galick gun once again lost the beam struggle

That was a pretty damn good episode. The characterization for Vegeta and Cabba was well written. Same goes for Goku with his hard-on for Hit and aloof attitude towards Vegeta.

And all the brutal spit inducing gut punches!!! I've noticed that since Super rarely shows blood, the show instead makes sure to have spit slobbering all over the place. Just like a good porno. I love it.

Waiting a whole week for these 20 min episodes is such a pain.

They go by in a second, and not much really happens in each episode.

judging by the preview Vegeta is about to be fodder again for the main opponent. Can't wait to see how excited Goku gets for a good fight. The dialog between him and Piccolo about Vegeta not enjoying him as a fellow saiyan had laughing like crazy

Ask me about the GAF Notebook
They made it seem like the squad was thrown together fast due to Champa being hasty.

Makes me wonder if that back doors more powerful beings that weren't on the team for one reason or another.

We’re back! Anyone still here? Just when super seems to be kicking up too! Anywho vegeta is still getting bodied. How much you wanna bet we get another “damn you Kakarot! How did you surpass me again!?” Moment in this fight?

Still here and waiting to see how the dub handles upcoming events!

The tournament started off kind of strange, but I've really been digging the last few episodes. Can't wait for Saturday.

So how many of you guys watch only the Dub and have no idea what's coming next?

I'm jealous of those in that situation, wish I could have waited for the Dub lol.

For those who don't know, this is an off-week for the Super dub (due to the Halloweekend). The next episode will be aired on the 4th. From what I understand, it's by far the best episode so far in Super.

Anywho, that last episode was really good. Yeah, Vegeta did his usual thing where he takes out some of the weaker characters and then gets "jobbed" by the biggest threat, but it was well done. Hit really gave Vegeta a beating.

I have a general idea of what happens in Super since I spent too much time snooping around r/dbz and I also watched a few episodes in the newest Universe Survival arc (a couple months ago) because I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about with the show apparently reaching higher levels as it goes on.

With that said, now that the dub has actually gotten to the good stuff I've resumed blacking myself out to any later episodes or sub discussion (as of a couple months ago). It's less tempting now.

Seen a couple scenes from beyond this and I know the general plot of the latest arc (saw the new intro) but other than that nothing. Have heard goku vs hit is supposed to be a pretty awesome fight

TBH, I watch only the Dub, but read the spoilers, yet my memory is bad enough that I don't remember what's going to happen...

Alright I heard tonight’s episode is supposedly the best in super. Let’s see if it lives up to the hype!

I think I’ll be able to watch live tonight for once

Wanted to chime in here and say that even though I'm watching the sub I am also enjoying the dub! Tonight's show should indeed be hype.

That episode was fantastic except for the terrible song selection at the end.

lol yeah I would've gone with something orchestral but damn when he said x10 I felt like a little kid again. Just smiling and swinging my fists like I was him lol

I haven't watched the dub since the first episode or two (I stay caught up with the Japanese version instead) but I had to tune in for this one. Yeah...the moment Goku said "Times ten!!!" I had to wince because of how guttural and gravelly his voice got because I imagine it was about that time when Sean really started to damage his throat/vocal cords. Yeesh. I'll say this, the dub version made SSBKK seem way more savage and powerful than the original Japanese episode.

When he goes Kaioken I always think he should do the harder edge as it’s his body being pushed beyond its limits almost like he’s doing it through gritted teeth. I remember him doing something similar for kaioken x3 in Kai so at least it’s consistent
