I think long term the Wii U won't be able to keep up with Sony / MS next offerings.

In a perfect world, this is what they should do:

Unveil a Super Wii U at E3 2014 or other big trade show

Super Wii U

Release late 2014 / maybe late 2015

Fully Backwards compatible with Wii U

Specs comparable / superior to next gen Sony / MS systems

Sell for ~$250 with no Gamepad - ~$299 with Gamepad

Launch with Zelda and/or Smash Bros and/or Mario 3d

Profit

It would ruin the trust in Nintendo that it would support it's systems... Everybody would love more power, but luckily we have MS/Sony that will bring bleeding Edge Tech. The Wii U seems like a perfect system for Nintendo games to me and a few excellent 3rd party exclusives and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Just...no. There is no benefit to what a Super Wii U could possibly achieve. Third party devs already have everything they bitched about last gen and more from what they wanted from Wii. A Super Wii U would not change third party devs minds about the console if they're deadset against the Wii U as is right now.

Tell devs straight up if you want their game on Wii U, and call them out on their BS when they say it's "not feasible".
