The left are so out of touch with reality that it's starting to become dangerous. We have other more important issues that need focused energy from our politicians and media and they CHOOSE to focus on titles and tags because they can't let their stoopid hate boner go.

I'm sorry, dude, but Trump knows what he is doing. He is trying to "brand" this like he does with everything. No one was calling it "Chinese Virus" but he did that several times in a short period in a calculated way.

I'm not saying it's racist or even inaccurate, but it's definitely a deliberate choice that he thought about and did for opportunistic reasons.
To be fair, he addressed that yesterday by saying it's a direct response to the claims from Chinese government officials that this virus originated from the US military. He changed his phrasing after that to make sure there was no doubt in which nation he is attributing the origin of the virus to.

Probably because China keeps saying USA brought it there to mess them up. So yeah.. He's saying... CHYNA!!!

Remind me again why anyone should take your mewling mind-reading seriously? :goog_rofl:

We already know why he did it because he told us why: China is spreading propaganda that it originated with the US military and was purposely released there. But here ya go again with the secret motives, telling all the rest of us why he really did it, just like with Burisma.

A foreign power is trying to blame the USA for a worldwide pandemic and the best you can come up with is "yeah... but... y'know secretly Trump was only doing this to be opportunistic".

China ain't gonna fuck ya, dude, at least not in the way you seem to be hoping.
I find it difficult to believe he did this for the sake of convincing the Chinese people actually exposed to that propaganda.

"During a pandemic the President is worried about deflecting any and all blame onto China"

FTFY.

Also, there's already plenty of vids of racist ass people going up to Asian people in the US and fucking around with them over this. It really is as simple as "Trump is exacerbating racism, as usual, and should stop." But Trump knows every petty battle is important in the war against the PC police, so fuck them, they're sucking Chinas dick if they don't call it Chinese Virus just like he does. 🤡

Oh wow. You didn't realize China was telling the international community it was the USA? That is what this is about, not some China-only propaganda on their local NPR radio station. :lollipop_tears_of_joy:

Perhaps that is why you find it difficult to believe. You've suffered from a misunderstanding of the facts from the get-go.

You think those people would’ve never done those things if Trump hadn’t ever said “chinese virus”?

You think hearing “chinese virus” just instantly turns people into racists?

The people openly disrespecting chinese people are wrong, but it has nothing whatsoever to do with Trump referring to where the virus came from. They are using the virus itself as an excuse, not Trump’s word choice.

Choosing to not call it a "China Coronavirus" or "Chinese virus" does not make you a CCP suckup, but decrying anyone who does use such terminology is certainly suspect.

Also, where are these "plenty of vids?" A quick search didn't turn anything up, but please share some links so I can see the truth of the situation.

The audacity of these fuckers. As if their bullshit questions have done anything to help halt the spread of the virus.
Too bad the little bitch didn't even put their name to it. She could have responded with:

Do you think your note was helpful in halting the spread of the CHINESE Coronavirus?

Why can't we just call this the Corona virus or covid-19 and shut the fuck up about it? We know where it originated for the most part, goddamn.

All this petty shit.

The left is trying its damnedest to make this into an issue when it isn’t.

Chinese coronavirus is a perfectly fine name for it. Viruses are named after the places they come from all the time.

But they WANT it to be racism SO BAD.

It happened after the Chicoms branded it a US military bioweapon, and has had the Renfield dick remoras at the WHO helping them hide that they hid the outbreak for two months.

Chinese propaganda still up to their bullshit. They're probably never going to admit to this which is why the West is going to have to crush them after this. It's either now or never.

Beijing's top coronavirus expert has denied that the bug originated in Wuhan and slammed such claim as 'irresponsible'.

'The epidemic of the novel coronavirus pneumonia indeed took place in China, in Wuhan… but it does not mean its source is in Wuhan,' said Dr Zhong Nanshan, the leader of a team of experts appointed by China to tackle the health crisis.
Dr Zhong, 83, said at a press conference yesterday that no evidence suggested the virus originated in Wuhan, a provincial capital city of more than 11 million people.

'It is a scientific problem. I think it is irresponsible to conclude lightly before [the matter] is clarified,' the epidemiologist said at the 46th Coronavirus Prevention Media Conference hosted by the government of Guangzhou in southern China.

This is the second time Dr Zhong has rebuked the widely held belief.

Yes, the virus which clearly radiated out from Wuhan and spread across China evenly from Wuhan was not actually from Wuhan.

Obviously it started in Madagascar, but a freak wind blew a bit of spittle from the real Patient Zero all the way across the Indian Ocean and India and the Himalayas and half of China. That spittle just happened happened to land in a bowl of hearty and totally safe bat soup.

I look forward to the WHO confirming this obvious origin, maybe with blaming global warming and the US for the freak wind.

Also China: It doesn't spread from human to human

Stelter starting to sound like Trump. "OANN is tiny news, sad, very sad, shameful." Is this the final stage of TDS? Becoming that which you hate?
They always have been in which they claim to hate. They hate themselves, truthfully.

I wonder if Arkage Arkage has any evidence. I have no doubt if he had video, or any evidence he would make a thread about it.

Lol. I've always found this meme funny too. Is it because the real big brain option is to just pick one side and never criticise anything from the side you're on?
Nah, I post that meme every time I see someone both sidesing. Don't care who, don't care what it's about. I just hate both sidesing because it ignores the magnitude of the input from either side as well as who started it (which is indeed important). It's just a lazy way for someone to get their big brain feels without actually addressing the root of the problem.

Don't take it personally.

All good, nothing personal I know. I just find there's this weird double view of the left (quite rightly in most cases) ...

On the one hand the Left are this mindless rabble who couldn't decide on a pronoun let alone a rational argument ... then, on the other hand, they're this insurmountable social movement who are undermining everything normal people stand for and are turning our world into a pansexual, socialist hellscape.

The left are culturally dominant right now. There was an inversion coinciding with the Obama administration in which cultural dominance transitioned from the traditional Evangelical Christian right to the social justice left, which have since evolved into what I call the New Evangelicals. However, they don't realise or won't admit that they are culturally dominant, and a lot of their methods and rhetoric that had evolved from the period in which they were the underdog are inherently based on victimhood. They haven't adapted to the Brave New World, and so we live in this bizarre timeline where the feminist/gay/trans/black/Islam/whatever coalition are continuing to gain power by playing the victim even though they're no longer the underdog. It's the whole punching up/punching down thing, which is actually a real phenomenon, but is misconstrued by the people who cry about it the most.

If you want to know who holds cultural dominance at any given time, look at where the humour is coming from. Humour is a means of punching up against a culturally dominant power that is attempting to consolidate itself, and right now the humour is coming exclusively from the right. The left can't meme (anymore) because they're no longer the underdog and punching down isn't funny. That's why I don't think it's simply a matter of "both sides". In fact, I think it's dangerous to lazily default to "both sides" because you never address the root of the issue. If you don't address the root of the issue, you can't solve the problem.

I don’t think calling it the Chinese Virus is racist but I can see actual racists using it as fuel to attack Chinese Americans who have nothing to do with the virus.

Newsflash, those people were racist before and will be racist after. They don't need an excuse, so stop giving them power over your thoughts and feelings.

I guess we should allow China to rewrite the history of this virus, and continue pushing this bullshit lie that America invented the wuhanvirus, and sent a couple of troops to China to spread it.

People are so eager to throw away the truth, as long as its PC or whatever.

I think the other reason the left can't meme or be funny nowadays is not just because punching down sin;t funny, they've also set up so many rules about what can't be said or made light of, they're not really left with any material!

I’m surprised they haven’t tried to change the name of the Japanese Encephalitis yet.

Did you see where the Party is trying to memory hole the Spanish Flu on Wikipedia?

As someone else said, they try to change history so they can later claim that "No OnE eVeR cAlLeD iT tHe SpAnIsH fLu!".

Or, more appropriate to the text they emulate, "We have always called it the 1918 Flu Epidemic."
