Just a small notice: I'll be creating the E3 2016 | General Information & FAQ thread which will go up soon to when the press conferences begin (including the one by EA). Feel free to send me any requests for that thread. It'll feature the common things like schedule, exhibitor list, press information, fun stuff like the usual Spotify playlist, bingo cards etc.

As for the expo itself, I predict that we will see a few "megaton" announcements, mostly from Sony. Something regarding The Last Guardian perhaps. Then we have of course the proposed PS4 Neo and an upgraded Xbox One, so that could make big splashes too.

Nintendo I think will comment on NX due to the deluge of questions from media. Nothing big, but perhaps something to increase anticipation.

MS shouldn't be showing Halo 6 anything. They should focus on Halo Wars 2 (you know, the game that we've seen absolutely nothing about since announcement) and Halo 5 DLC.

I was just trying to think of a big first party title to close out the show. Halo 6 wouldn't come out until next fall, but they showed Gears 4 last year and its not coming out until this fall. Figured a short teaser (read: a flash of something and some spoken words with a logo and 2017) would be a possibility.

No new character in June. We get the Cinematic Story mode in June. Also it makes a lot of sense to show a good Story mode trailer at E3 and get the interest of the casuals.

If it's as big as we think it's gonna be, they can show a lot of just "random open-world exploration" without actually showing anything plot relevant.

Mass Effect Andromeda, Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 will be the big games at EA's press conference and will be playable at EA Play.

Things that will be at the EA Press Conference:

-Release date for Mass Effect Andromeda and Titanfall 2
-Name and trailer (maybe a date?) for the Hazelight game (from the director of Brothers: At Tale of Two Sons)
-Name and trailer for the Amy Hennig/Visceral game

I just think Zelda is one of those franchises where a big part of the appeal is the sense of discovery. So I definitely think you lose a bit of that when you're watching someone else play chunks of the game. It's one thing to have a 5-10 minute stage demo of the game, but their show is Zelda. So it's going to be a lot more than that.

For this reason, I won't be watching Nintendo at all this E3. I feel I've heard enough about the game already and my media blackout starts now. Already know some of the core gameplay philosophy and the art style, that's enough for me! Except the title of course and maybe some generic info on whether to get the Wii U or NX version.
