Looks like 2005 is free and Madden 2006 will be $19.99 for another year. $20 a year isn't that bad, I was scared they would charge monthly.

Online play is still free. This is going to be for "premium" features, and its for Xbox as well. This year will be free for users, next year they're going to start charging.
