Format for ELeague

Group stage play will take place on Fridays throughout April and May. Group A will play on April 7, Group B on April 21, Group C on May 5, and Group D on May 12. Each day's group play will begin at a to-be-announced time and will be streamed on Twitch. The final matches of the group will begin at 10pm ET / 7pm PT and will be simulcast on both TBS and Twitch.

The eight players who survive group play will compete in the finals on Friday, May 26. The opening rounds will be streamed on Twitch, while the final rounds will be simulcast on both TBS and Twitch.

I vaguely knew this was happening but didn't realize what the format was. 4pm EST actually works out fantastic for my work schedule (I get home around 3:45pm EST) but are all matches being streamed? 28 matches seems like a lot to get through if they're airing all of them.

Either way looking forward to this.

Probably partly for entertainment purposes to get known personalities on, but also probably in part due to this likely conflicting with people's schedules for "actual" upcoming tournaments and being unable to commit.
