I'll just quote myself from the other thread:
For something to look good, something else has to be made to look bad (even if it has gameplay).
Those dudes can't shoot for shit!
Very impressive. For me it's the best "next-Gen" footage I've seen, though I understand that it's just a tech demo.
There is no game logic running underneath the visuals, so I'm skeptical if this is what we will get in game. The folks at Guerilla are tech wizards, so I don't understand this shitting on killzone.
i dont understand the point of showing these demos on gtx 680 or 7990, do they expect gamers to shell out $500+ for gpus??? seems really misleading

is the protag fight'n to rescue colours?
impressive tech
Why their art direction always looks so cliche and boring? It's probably an intentional thing right?
This is the first tech demo I've seen so far that looks close to CG. I'm impressed.
maybe it is good way to show off the visual? these dark tone makes the graphics look better I think. But yea, I am not fan of Epic's art direction on these kind of demos.
Or tone down the path-tracing model, e.g. viewport res, max bounces, etc. We're slowly but steadily getting there. Actually, some hybrid approaches are getting there faster. No, this is a fun experiment, but you won't get rid of that noise until you get a machine with ridiculous processing power.
Or maybe it's what they think gamers want /expect to see in those demos?Or are they being aimed primarily for investors?
