Every Youtube Gamer Ever (CollegHumor)

A+

This is why I pretty much only watch Giant Bomb Quick Looks. They're actually funny and interesting and inject some personality into the videos rather than inane facts or screaming into a camera.

Funny video.

Also, I approve of this Youtube comment:

If you're talking about AVGN, correct me if I'm wrong but he was doing those videos before Youtube blew up into what it is today and his first videos were on Screw Attack not Youtube. If anything he started the trend of the deluge of classic games channels we see today with how popular his were/are. I'm not saying he's above parody but this video was done in reaction to the vast amount of retro channels that try to do the same thing as AVGN.

Also Gamesack is a great channel as well, their captures are fantastic and their occasional comedy skits give me a chuckle.

As a person who's been doing gaming videos on YouTube since 2006, I guess I should be happy that doesn't seem to be me at all.

For something reassuringly different from what's being parodied in the video, I love the thought and articulate presentations in the Satchbag videos - I found them through his Sonic video, and it provided some neat insights into a high point of a series I stopped caring about years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdxQmgC2Bhw

lol This actually reminds me more of all the cheesy 90s videos I saw growing up.

Also, no YT gamer is going to put in the effort to actually go to Wikipedia and look up history on Mario. That's just unrealistic. They always overplay their ignorance.

Ah okay, didn't know that. I know he's been active for quite a while, but thats all.

Speaking of the annoying behaviour, some gaffer posted this in some thread and it's so insanely sad.

Wow, that's perfect. It's like exhibit A of cynically distilling something into a predictable formula. I wonder if he did this on his own, or got picked up by some network and had some consultants advise him on how to "grow your channel".

I'm amazed they completely skipped the "pretending to be scared at popular horror game of the month" and "pretending to be pissed off at popular flash game of the month" trends.

At this point there has to be about twenty times more videos about Happy Wheels than actual people playing them. It's the archetypal annoying YouTuber game.

Still without luck
Lol the college humor LIKE/SUBSCRIVE/FAVORITE shit at the end. Should have been in the parody bit.

Holy shit! See, this is why my Youtube vids are boring. I just play a game and talk a lil bit if at all. I can't act like a nutball like that.

Eh, at least Game Theory is super informative and AVGN is one of James's characters.

The AVGN videos have actual production quality behind them. Regardless of the humor, he can't just shit them out like those 100 part Happy Wheels marathons. He's very much one of the first generation YouTubers.
