90s internet is too archaic, early to mid 2000s was the sweet spot.

The internet peaked in 2006 and it's been a downward slope ever since.
Probably a debate for its own thread, but MUDs and Usenet are all I’ve ever wanted or needed from the internet.

I’d settle for the internet of the 90s. Nerds were on the real internet while everybody else was on AOL trying to not to tie up the family phone line.
In the early days of internet we really were very educated and middle-upper class. but now its really for everyone and well this is what happens. Fake news and unreliable sources go to the top of google.
