I enjoyed Fallout 3 but for me it was an 8/10 at most. Meanwhile New Vegas took over my gaming life for months, to the point I did everything in it investing about 120 hours (not normal for me). NV was a 10/10 for my tastes despite the bugs. The only Wasteland I've played was the original, but your praise for the modern sequels makes me intrigued. If one can burst mutant raiders like blood sausages then they did it right.

Wasteland 2 was ok-ish, but 3 is great. It's on gamepass so you can at least try it if you're subscribed.
