Family Matters cast reunion photos

Who the hell is that kneeling next to the table?

EDIT: wait that's Waldo? Holy shit...

If they didn't have Erkel I'd be fine with the show. Talk about some one who kept harassing some one who kept telling him no and the show would treat her like a bad guy cause she didn't like being stalked. Even had one episode where she felt bad about being "mean" cause he couldn't take no for an answer. And at the end he gets the girl teaching us that it is ok to keep harassing some one you want and eventually they'll turn around.

I never saw the later episodes, but this was probably my favorite show floating in the sea of "family comedies with a dash of drama from time to time". I always loved watching Urkel, seeing his awesome inventions. Despite his in your face dorkyness, I liked the guy and looked up to him somewhat.

Plus, I always wanted his car, that thing was boss as hell

Is the porno thing the reason they got rid of Judy's actress?

Nah, she was still a kid back then. I read that they just had trouble finding things to do with her character and she was something they could remove to save money, so they retconned her out of the show. I think they knew by that point that the show was going to be Urkel heavy.

Where are the pictures of Steve? I just see Stefan.
Steve became the world's first trillionaire and successfully integrated Stefan's personality without his changing machine. He still wears glasses but kindly removed them for the shoot.

The family is standing in a holographic recreation of the Winslow homestead.

I remember being sad that I couldn't be home to watch TGIF shows. I would see the commercials, and it always looked like such a party (they interacted with the other show characters for promos if I remember correctly). Every Friday my family had to be somewhere until like 9pm. TV life was so sad back then because there was no TIVO, internet tv streaming, or on demand stuff.
Yo, VCRs want a word with you. Don't knock one generation for being able to watch a show later when you could have too. Granted, a little less convenient than a DVR but we didn't know any better back then.

You say that like Waldo wasn't a bigger part of the overall show than Judy who lasted, what, 1 season?

She lasted 4, maybe 5.

But yeah... given how much Waldo + Eddie duo episodes occurred, that still might be a true statement at the end of the day.

Edit: Checked, she lasted until 4th season

I watched it every week when it first aired, minus later seasons, and I can't remember half the characters. (25 years ago, haven't watched since.)

My brain is bad.

We had one, but I couldn't record my shows (too little to buy my own tapes. I actually forgot about VCRs hah). As I got older I started utilizing the VCR to record a lot of stupid stuff hah. I even modded non recordable tapes to be able to record. I remember bringing a vhs of me playing the final boss of FF7 to school and playing it for the class when we had a substitute teacher. Good times.

I love these photos so much. I only wish there was a photo of Carl and Steve since their relationship was so important to the show.

Seriously

same person

it was like the whole TV family decided on an average age they would get to, just that some of the cast had to age backwards to get to it
