Port of the Saturn game.

Makes sense to launch it around when the PS2 sequel comes out. Though truthfully I would've rather seen it on DS unless they optimize the game for load times. The early PS1 Atlus games had terrible loading.

Wow, this is more than I expected. Shadow Hearts 2 did get "only" 32/40, as far as I remember.

I can't wait to play this game. I should get my copy in less than 2 weeks. :)

Someone will pick it up. I'd say Atlus is at the top of that list.

I hope you're right. However, I was under the impression Atlus had already turned it down. I'll see if I can find the article...

edit: ehhhh can't find anything. Might have been a message board thing. I remember it being reputable enough to believe but I can't remember where I read it, arrrgh. >.<

Oh well, take it or leave it. :p

If Generation of Chaos get picked up, there is no way SH3 won't. I mean, that's practically scraping the bottom of the barrel there.

Wait wait, did I read this right? A devil summoner game on PSP?? As well as the new one on ps2? Are there any screens or art or details at all??

It was on this board. :p

C- Warrior made a thread about it, basically just copy/pasting what was posted on IGN's boards. Here's the bit about Atlus:
Atlus was also asked about the possibility of bringing over Shadow Hearts: FTNW, however Atlus reps (at the official Atlus board) responded in saying that the Shadow Hearts series would direrctly compete with their Shin Megami/Devil Digital games.
However, the response in question was posted by some random forum member, and not an Atlus rep. And unfortunately, Atlus still hasn't given any kind of response about localizing the game. :(

And if you're curious, here's the original thread: http://www.ga-forum.com/showthread.php?t=52336

Uh, so because NIS America picked up Generation of Chaos, Atlus will pick up Shadow Hearts: From the New World? ...I'm not seeing the connection here.

heh, I actually yelled "holy shit" so loud my neighbors heard me for sure when I saw that Shadow Hearts score. SH2 and almost every rpg in Famitsu gets between a 31-33; you have to be a fucking AAA game like SMTIII to get a 35/40. Wow, damn this is gonna be good :)

Also that's pretty crazy high for Fatal Frame 3, I wonder what they loved about it compared to the earlier games (most survival horror gets around 31/32). Ouendan is pretty high too, but Famitsu tends to rate DS games high so it's not really shocking.

But where is Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 score? Or Pac n' Roll DS? ;_;

No connection. Just meant to illustrate how, many jrpgs get picked up for the US.
